1. Can I travel abroad if my passport is just one month valid?

    • Passport should be at least 6 months valid before departure.

2. What is the free baggage allowance for check in and carry on baggage?


    • ASIA/EUROPE and other destinations – 30 kilos on economy class and 40 kilos on business class
    • USA and Canada – 2 pieces at 23 kilos per piece for economy and 2 pieces at 32 kilos per piece for business class   


    • Passenger is allowed to carry one piece of luggage enough to be stored in the overhead bin with a weight of 7 kilos or 15 pounds   

3. How much liquid can a passenger bring on the carry on luggage.

    • Passenger is allowed to bring a bottle or container of 3.4 ounces or 100 ml bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag through the check point

    • Usual check in time is 2 to 3 hours before departure. It is suggested for passengers to do online check in to avoid the queue at the airport

6. Who pays Philippine  Travel Tax?

    • All Filipino passengers are required to pay the Philippine travel tax of PHP 1620.00
      To avail of reduced payment for children, infants, immigrants, and overseas workers they are required to secure a certificate from TIEZA before paying their travel tax.
    • Foreigners leaving the country do not pay Philippine travel unless stay is more than one year.

    • Some  airlines like Emirates Airlines and Eva Air Airlines require a negative PCR test certificate in English issued no more than 96 hours if passengers coming from the Philippines, USA, India, Russia and other countries with a high percentage of Covid 19 cases.
